Note: Both public and private channels are displayed as options, but only the channels that you have joined as a member. If you want to use a private channel with this integration, you must be a member of the private channel and add Slack to the private channel first.
“Mention” certain people in a Slack message
You can mention someone in Slack via the integration by using that person’s Slack user ID. To do this, go to your Slack account, search for the user’s profile, click on the three-dot menu and select “Copy member ID”.

When you are finished, go back to your integration recipe and use the following syntax: <@memberID>. For example, we would like to notify Danielle as soon as a script is completed.
As soon as the status changes to “Done”, Danielle receives a message in Slack.

Mention all active team members in a channel
If you only want to notify those who are currently online in a channel in Slack, you can use “@here”. To include “@here” in your message when using the Slack integration, simply write < !here > in the notification text within your integration, as shown below.
Mention a specific channel
If you want to mention an entire channel, i.e. all team members in a channel, regardless of whether they are online or offline, use <channel> in the notification text of your integration.
